Marble's Instruments #3
One of my two main guitars, this one is a ca. 1955-56 Gibson LG-2. I think the LG stands for "little guitar"? It's beat to hell, but it's all honest wear and it has a wonderfully woody sound. Amazing volume for such a small guitar, and it's incredibly light. A low-end Gibson that just delivers. I bought it at a local guitar show a few years back; there were other LG's at the show in better condition, but this one just had the tone.

Marble's Instruments #2
Here's a Vega archtop acoustic of an unknown vintage. My guess is late '40s early '50s, but that's just a guess. The tuning buttons are disolving, so I know that should narrow down the date. Any info is appreciated. Anyhow, the guitar plays great, (it has a real nice neck), but kind of a muted sound. I really should fix those tuners.
